True Colors Fund is working to strengthen the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and allied community by growing the number of individual donors we have everyday!

Help us continue to make the Give a Damn Campaign a success as well as launch our new initiative, the Forty to None Project, by donating to the True Colors Fund.

The Give A Damn Campaign, focuses on the many issues impacting the gay and transgender community. From youth to older adults, from workplace discrimination to hate crimes, the issues are covered in a comprehensive way and assisted with over 30 celebrity filled call to action PSAs. The Give a Damn Campaign wants everyone, straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender to get informed and get involved in ensuring that equality for all really includes all.

In June 2012, the True Colors Fund announced its new program called, the Forty to None Project. The aim is to raise awareness about gay and transgender youth homelessness in the United States. It is estimated that up to 40% of all homeless youth in the United States identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender. The program will focus on educating and engaging the public, as well as empowering and advocating on behalf of these young people, so that it can reach its goal of getting that 40% to NONE.

Special Events

True Colors Fund hosts major events around the country to raise awareness and funds, the most notable being our Home for the Holidays concert.

Home for the Holidays Concert

Join us on December 8th for the second annual star-studded benefit concert at New York City’s historic Beacon Theater to help raise awareness about lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth homelessness. Last year, “Home for the Holidays,” featured a night of music from Cyndi as well as special appearances by Norah Jones, Wanda Sykes, Lou Reed, Cassandra Wilson, Carson Kressley, Jon Secada, Linda Perry, Cheryl Wright, Skylar Grey, Vanessa Carlton, Angelique Kidjo, Harvey Fierstein, Deluka, Nona Hendryx, Alan Cumming, Kathy Najimy, Thomas Roberts, Randy Fenoli, Kelly Killoren Bensimon, and Clay Aiken.
