About the Organization
The Aftercare program provides services to young adults from the ages of 18 to 24 and their children. Aftercare clients develop independent living skills, enroll in and complete education, access community resources, seek affordable housing, and access mental health services.
Participants are expected to fulfill certain obligations in order to benefit from the program. These expectations include maintaining a job, completing education, and weekly contact with their case manager.
The Aftercare program eligibility requirements include being homeless, which includes living in a shelter, on the street or a place not meant for human habitation like a car. Or, clients can receive K-TAP benefits and be active in the Kentucky Works program.
