Joe Moran, PMP

Chief Creative Officer & Chief of Staff

For more than 15 years, Joe Moran has worked as creative producer and nonprofit techie. As the True Colors Fund’s Chief Creative Officer, Joe works at the intersection of communications, technology, and design. As Chief of Staff, he manages human resources and provides leadership around project management functions.

Prior to joining the True Colors Fund, Joe served as Director of Communications and Technology at Quality Services for the Autism Community (QSAC), where he spent eight years building the communications and technology department. Joe also led digital strategy for Marriage Equality New York, OutAstoria, and the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce NY. He currently sits on the board of Westbury Arts, a local arts and culture organization on Long Island, where he serves as corresponding secretary and publicity & marketing chair. Joe is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP)®.

In addition to his experience in the nonprofit sector, Joe has worked in the entertainment industry as an actor, producer, and writer. He is an avid comic book reader, retro video game player, and wacky snacker.
