What is the Impact Summit?
The True Colors Fund's Impact Summit is a unique two-day conversation that brings together awesome people doing awesome things to end homelessness among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth across the country – including advocates, service providers, funders, government officials, and of course, young people! The Impact Summit includes interactive sessions, performances, action planning breakouts, and networking opportunities.
We’re proud to announce that TYLENOL®PM is our first-ever presenting sponsor. TYLENOL®PM has been an invaluable partner of True Colors Fund for years. Together, we’re working to bring you even more of the fantastic content you expect from the Summit!
In addition to our regular Impact Summit programming, we'll be hosting a town hall in partnership with the Annie E. Casey Foundation on October 5 to inform the creation of a national research agenda to prevent and end LGBTQ youth homelessness. We want to know what research gaps you’ve identified that, if addressed, could strengthen efforts to address LGBTQ youth homelessness.
Why the Name Change?
We used to call it the 40 to None Summit, because according to research, 40% of youth experiencing homelessness in America are LGBTQ. The thing is, statistics change… We need a name that lasts.
We decided to change the name to the Impact Summit. We think the name more accurately reflects the gathering's mission of providing tangible and innovative takeaways attendees can bring back to their communities to create real change!
